Yesterday I set up four little pots that are covered (with air holes) to keep them humid and are sitting in a tray of shallow water to keep them moist.
The internet said I should lift the coverings each day to let fresh air cycle through.
How long do I need to lift the coverings for? I think I should perhaps be lifting them for longer, I only lifted them very briefly.
Also there was a damp, slightly mouldy smell that I'm worried about
With the humidity and moisture inside the little pots how do I prevent rot?
