Nice Meyer!. I'm no expert but what I did last year with mine was left all the blooms. If meyer is in good condition all year it should be producing blooms most of the year. Meaning you would get multiple harvest. I had lemons from the day i got,it around april to December.

Meyer Lemons will ripen in late Winter.
Leave the small tree alone for now.

Yep, above advice is good. Do not prune now, that tree is way too small to think about pruning.

And actually citrus do NOT need pruning to produce fruit or for any other reason, except perhaps if it has one branch that's way longer than the others, in that case you can prune it back to the rest of the canopy of leaves. But that is just for looks, not for health or production.

In fact if you prune off the new branch tips, you are pruning off your fruit. Citrus fruit is produced on new growth, so if one was always pruning off new growth, they'd never get fruit, or get very little.
They always look awkward and uneven when young, they will fill out and be more uniform in growth with age. No need to prune for that.

Again, Citrus do not need pruning.
