Growing under Lights

I am about to start some hot pepper seeds I ordered online, my question is about lighting after germination, I have a rather expensive light setup I once used for a marine aquarium with white and blue lighting that worked well with corals, is this a sufficient light source for pepper plants or should I change the type of bulbs in the lamp?

Those lights should work fine i use plane CFL bulbs, the warm and cool bulbs are perfect for green foliage. So as long as it pumps out enough luminous to feed your plants when mature your golden.

What are your intentions with the peppers, growing them to maturity inside or starting them to plant outside?

Also is your light set up T5 or T8 bulbs?

The bulbs are a square pin 32 watt compact florescent. Also I plan to move some of the plants outdoors and keeping 1 or two of them inside throughout the winter.

The bulbs will work fine. It will depend on how big your pepper plants get whether or not you will have enough light.
