I'd give $10.00 each.

I'd give them @20 each.

If they came in the morning would probably have given them $50 all together and told them that lunch was on me. If they came in the afternoon I would have given them $15 each.

I give at least $10 total; but if there were 3 guys, then I would give a total of $15--so $5 each when split. After reading the other responses, I feel kind of cheap!

Now I'm embarrassed. I gave them $5 each. Darn it.

i use the thought process of buying lunch ...

and of course ... the value of lunch for how many dudes .. differs... area to area ...

just ask .. where are you guys going for lunch????

ken

Don't feel alone, I'd have tipped 'em $5 each too. Better than nothing which, in this area, is more likely what they'd get.

Your tip will buy each a couple of beers with their lunch ;-)

If they're having beer with their lunch I hope I'm not on the schedule as an afternoon delivery.

Unless there's something unusual about the delivery, I'd just give good feedback to the furniture store on their delivery people. This isn't the sort of job for which I expect there to be tipping.

With the higher cost of living, $20 seems fair. Don't fret about the $5. It's 5 more dollars than they had in their pocket!
