How did you even find this post?? I don't even know where it is! I posted it in the seed exchange but it said it was posted in advice, whatever that means, and I don't see it anywhere. Only way I can find this post is by going to my profile and viewing my activity

I was under seed exchange and had just made a post... I didn't see my post, but I saw yours and responded.

I think the advice box fills the top, then you have to scroll down to see what's in the "forum"... but I'm not 100% positive about that yet.

Yup, a clunky switch. Right in the middle of get-your-seeds-traded high season. And I just updated my seed list...

I found the profile.. it's the "your houzz" in the upper right hand corner. To do my zone info I put in my zone as my last name.
Still haven't figured out trade lists yet.

GWTamara says trade pages 'are coming'.

So, on a seed trading forum, people's trade pages are not available, people can't find their postings, and I had to find the forum through a search--though 'Seed Saving' is a category under 'S', 'Seed Trading' is not listed--I am guessing it's under Exchanges, but who knows? Tons of threads that are 5, 6, 7 years old or older are what comes up first, rather than current postings. Brilliant. I've used GW less and less over the years, and now I'm thinking it's time to ignore it permanently.

I just found out that the only way that you can message anyone through the site is if they are a follower.

Kilngod, I just clicked 'Follow' on your page. I wonder if you go to my page, if you can then see a 'Contact me' link. I can sure see problems by this complication to contacting members.

I just messaged chemocurl successfully. Kms4me, I just followed you -- Click on my screenname and see if you can message me, k?

Then...

Google your screen name (or mine) and 'gardenweb exchange page'. Select the 'arrow' dropdown and click 'cache'. Cut and paste your old list somewhere safe.

This process will also allow you to search someone's list. It may not be the most recent, but a version from sometime within the last few weeks.

Well I can't see/find my exchange page. Would you mind doing the search for mine and posting the URL here? When I try, it goes to a Houzz page for decorating or something...big sigh.
