Yes, you can change your name and with the name change you can list your zone, location or whatever you wish to be seen by going to 'Your Houzz', (upper right on this page) clicking 'Edit Profile', and putting in the name and zone info that you want displayed in the 'Profile info' box. Then click 'Update' at the bottom.

Okay, now you have a number! ... LOL.

You can change it to a name by editing your profile. I read where someone else had changed theirs to a name instead of a number and didn't even know how they got the number.

I'm wondering if you had registered at another Howzz site with the name of Iris whatever and it got picked up?

We just have to laugh ... eh?

If you follow Roselee's advice and use Sylviatexas (or whatever you like) in the first name field and then either blank out the last name or put your zone for last name, it should be back to a more familiar user name :-)

As far as I'm concerned, I'm not jumping through any more hoops...it just never seems to end as far as reinventing the wheel. I'm too old for this.
