Looks like you have a great start! Perhaps adding several pieces of art will give the biggest impact. You can also add photos that you have taken to keep the wall interesting, and it can be every changing! A bright or patterned set of drapes for around the window will also give some interest to the room.

This kind of grouping would work against the dark wall. Keep it within 75% of the credenza's width.

So I've moved the mirror to the other side of the dresseand plant to paint the frme white. purchased some great prints of some tree stumps to hang here. From http://lightandink.bigcartel.com/ I think they'll look great. And rather than buying a second dresser and creating a wall of dressers I was going to try and find a couple of chairs and a small table to put in the other corner. I also think it would look better if we mounted the tv. Thats all I've got for now.

I am a huge fan of vinyl wall graphics. Inexpensive and whimsical.
