what plants to take with when moving

We are moving to the beach. What plants might I successfully transplant to by Tybee house. For example, last year I bought several new varieties of breaded iris. Will they survive on Tybee or should I leave them for the new owners of my ATL metro house or send them to relatives elsewhere?

Not sure where tybee is.

I would take most of the plants myself.

For reference Tybee is an island in coastal ga, near Savannah. I'm in Bluffton, SC, just up the coast, and I haven't seen anyone growing bearded iris, but it never hurts to try :)

Thank you, that is kind of what I was questioning too. I don't recall even seeing any of them in Savannah.

They might not be salt tolerant.

Iris transplant like nothing better. Does not hurt to try. You may soon be hounded for cuttings. LOL!
