LORI: I'm surprised that you ask to use Weldbond. If there's one thing that's been discussed more than inside/outside glues on this forum, I don't know about it. Weldbond is a water-soluable adhesive, and should NEVER be used outside. Re the mosaicing the sides, I think you said it right - asking for trouble. There's lots of ways to finish the sides other than mosaics. I like your idea of just using grout. Is one of the advantages of using Epoxy grout is that it's smoother? I've seen copper edging used quite beautifully. Good luck on the table.

Thanks, Slow! Yes, I read so many discussions that I forget what's what after a while. Though some sites claim Weldbond can be used outdoors. I definitely don't want to take chances with something I'm charging money for.

Agreed, no WB. metal edging to the top would look great I think. And silicone always works great outdoors or indoors. I think you could attach the wedi to plywood OK.

Bullnose V-cap tiles can also be used around the edge of your table. They can be cut into smaller sections for round tables, too. Have fun!
