Need help with my jalapeño plants

I have jalapeño plants growing in large containers. One is approximately 2 feet high and is producing chilis. The other is still too small. My problem is that I'm battling leaf-miners and something else that's eating the leaves, sometimes completely off the stems.

When I first planted these, I noticed little grasshoppers and hornworms. I don't see these anymore. I have found slugs under the containers but never inside them. I've used organic sprays but they're still being attacked. Is there some type of insect proof netting? Help, I'm still new to gardening but I'm getting really discouraged. Thanks.
