Phragmipedium Olaf Gruss is a primary hybrid of besseae and pearcei. It is a small grower for a phrag. It is a nice size to have if you are running low on place. It is a sequential bloomer so it will be putting on a nice show for a while. As the plant matures, it should start branching and holding several open blooms at a time.

Lovely, I'm really getting into Phrags. Found a new place, 'Lucky Girl Orchids', I have bought from.

Thanks for the tip. I am trying to temper myself with the Phrags because I know they can take up a decent amount of space as they grow - even the smaller ones. Now that I have figured out the water quality I am surprised at how easy they are.

What brought you over to Phrags? I remember when you did not want to have anything to do with them.
