Cloudy days usually are better for taking photos. perhaps your camera has a setting depending upon the type of lighting that is in the room. Now, the new LEDs demand more of a custom setting, it seems. Is that a portrait setting on your camera, or the macro. Do you feel the color that you are getting in the foto is representative of the flower? Your pix look nice.

Yes, Kaboehm, you are right about the sparkling"fairy dust!" I am amazed as to what one can see closeup that you miss seeing otherwise---whether it be on an amaryllis or other plant. Thanks for the compliment!

Is there any other way to post a picture besides clicking on the 'photo' button below? I cannot get anything to upload...just get the spinner. I did write to houzz about file size and was told there is no limit so I am at a loss.

Hi Nancy!

I had problems too. You have to have the photo on the device you are posting from, phone or computer. I tried to insert from Photobucket like I had in the past and had no success. Now I have to go to Photobucket and resave the photo to my device and post from there.

Thanks Kristi but that's what I have been trying to do. I click on the photo button below, select the photo from the file on my computer, click open and then watch the little circle spin forever. Nothing ever happens. That's why I was wondering if there was another way. I have cleared my cache, run CCleaner and restarted several times. Still the same. :(
