My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
Actually, the attachment of pictures has become very easy. They are to be uploaded directly from a directory on the own computer. Arif MIGHT be yet to find this out.
Hoping you can figure out how to post your pictures. Looking at all the new creations/babies that people have grown is one of my favorite things to do. So please don't give up :) - J
Oh also, I thought at first you were another Arif that posts lots of his beautiful babies here, but as you are new - Welcome and please keep posting. - J
Jody, I think it's our friend Arif. I went to the profile page and it seems to be our good friend from Lehore, who also loves to play golf!!! New profile name!
It's nearly impossible for me to post from Photobucket. You have to have your photos on your computer or tablet to post easily. I think Arif had his photos in an album, do he is having the same problems I am experiencing!
Kristi - thanks for clearing that up! I wasn't sure :) It is easier for me to post pics now because I don't have to resize - which was a pain. So you upload to Photobucket to file in folder and then download to your computer from Photobucket to post - then clear file off computer? Sounds like bootcamp for downloading and uploading lol - J
For me it's more simple this new way as I have 11,000+/- photos on both of my computers and now I can easily just send the choices I wish to post to documents and, I type in the title of the picture into the documents box and the picture comes up to view before I select it to make sure I have the right photo before I send it to the thread. Of course all along I have labeled all my pictures doing away with the DSC numbers so they easily are found from the search box in my Windows 7 picture gallery.
In the past I used Picasa to post fromwhich of course I still have, but I found that from time to time if I wanted to delete a photo from a Picasa album it changed the sequence of the pictures and I ended up with the wrong picture on a thread. This has happened numerous times when I would be looking up something from several years ago and find my pictures have been removed or the wrong picture is in its place, annoying. I never had to resize anything and still don't which is very nice.
I guess we'll all find our own way of posting pictures eventually and no more duplicate posts and, changing something on a thread is so simple now!
Thank you dear friends, I am learning and so is houzz. Initially when I posted directly from my computer it was refused being too big, now it is being accepted but you have to do it one by one.
Dear Arif....should I blame or credit you with my latest purchase? The local daylily garden is selling out and all their plants are half off! I bought 4 ruffly ones (normal form) and 4 spider forms. All were at least double fans. Seemed like a good time to try them since I have expanded a flower bed in the back yard. Thanks....I think!!
