Donna, thank you for the id. What a surprise, nymph...I did not check if it has roots or not but I think I overwatered a little, the outside 2 layers of the bulb are thrinked. Other bulbs are also showing the scalp? Now, let's see what mislabel surprise they will bring.

Jody, I'm sure it's the original Nymph. There must be about a dozen of them these days but I think that the original is probably my favorite Nymph, when it's perfect it looks like a bridal bouquet.

Thank you all. I wanted to say it is a nice surprise. I do not know if nymph is rarer than samba or not. I did not think I saw it in Walmart when I bought these amaryllis kits. But we are loving the nymph ,as for samba, well, there is always next year. Thanks

Yep...it is H. Nymph. Don't confuse that with H. White Nymph. Yours is the first.

INVENTORY????? I'm laughing only because that would take me hours. I try to list and count all of mine every year. I long for the days when I had less than 100 pots. Now I'm on scape watch, checking each bulb to see if I can spot the top of a scape peeking out.

Here are two more bulbs that flowering. The first one I think is Apple Blossom? Second one is red peacock, samba, stargazer (these are the three tags I have when I bought the bulb) or something else? Thanks.

Red one looks like H. Amigo to me...H. Red Peacock is a double bloom.
