Need Vegetable Seeds

Have a 20x40 foot garden plot for low-income family that utilizes food pantry and need seeds to start plants. Excess will be donated to other needy people or local food pantry. Need: tomato, zucchini, lettuce, squash, pumpkin, kale, chard, broccoli, spinach, cauliflower, pepper, peas, beans, beets, cabbage, celery, and anything else that will grow in the midwest. Will send SASE to anyone with excess. Thank you.

Here is a suggestion to the OP and zzackey and katjaqu,
You will probably want to set up your profiles so that you can be messaged by anyone/everyone else, and not just followers.

I have been informed by houzz in an email that we are not allowed to make requests for seeds, but only for trading. I apologize if my request has offended anyone and God bless those of you who are able to contribute despite my error. I will be more considerate in the future.

That was the rule at the old site. I didn't know if it carried over. Looks like it did. But there are still ways for people in need. I'd start here. Bakemom loves to share with newbies and get 'em started. Get the tomato seeds for SASE at WinterSown.org. Get the SASE seeds from Garden Hoard. Use what you can. If you get flower seeds, or something you can't really use, THAT'S your trading stash. Come back and trade with us. Also, I'm trying to start a seed library. You really can't ASK for SASE seeds, but we can OFFER. Check out my ideabook called "My Trade List". There's a link to it's inventory. We'll work something out; maybe SASE, maybe I'll ask you to print me some seed packets or something. First look and see if I have a few things you could use.

you go to - (click here) ADVANCED SETTINGS

scroll down towards the bottom of the page and look under "privacy settings" theres a pull down menu for "who can message me" and choose "allow anyone to message me"

on that same page you can put your garden zone, edit your trade list, and check the email notifications that you do want
