Typical Australian Dendrobium with the gold colour probably coming from an ancestor called Den. fleckeri. At our winter show held in a shopping centre many of The Australian Dendrobiums are worse for wear at pull-down after being on show 4 days.

The winter show is held in August when the arid westerly wind is blowing across the continent and the days are not humid but the max temps are in the 60's F. I keep meaning to take a humidity.temperature gadget to the show but always forget.
