Central Texas Grassland restoration Blog

This Blog Is really pretty good and interesting. Jill Nokes is the Author of "How to Grow Native Plants of Texas and the Southwest". I have used her book as a resource since it came out in 2001. I ran into her at a riparian restoration seminar. She mentioned that she had bought some land out west of me , and west of Austin (even though she says it is North). LOL. she is an author/plant person , not a sailor. LOL. I just ran into her blog on a site that I frequent for environmental issues of this area. Actually Wisconsins mention of the Texas sea of wrong grasses article got me googling and I ended up on my friend's site. I have slogged through this blog from beginning to almost the end. I am attaching the index. She has it by separate subjects , but if you want it in chronological order , I suggest keep clicking on previous post once you are on a subject till one gets to the beginning of her blog. One sees it as it transpires. I think one understands the process much better. One see's her go through the drought and the years after it.
