I'm planning on purchasing a mattarello or pasta rolling pin. The only thing I know about it is that it ranges in length from about 3 - 4 ft. I wanted to know if anyone could tell me how to determine the length. I've heard that the amount of pasta determines the length of the rolling pin. I haven't been able to find out more about this rule. Does anyone know? Thanks.
