Posting on houzz isn't what it used to be - I can't seem to post. Type greys in the top Search, and choose 'stories'. Of course there are many shades of grey and you want to stick with the same throughout your room: either warm side, or cool blue side of grey. Which is yours?

I like your room - it's hard to tell from here, and is there an item that seems 'off' to you? I like some paint stores like SWilliams, which have the fans showing all hues... even the paint names indicate the move from warm grey to cool. Not necessary but it can make choices easier.

Something appealing about your loveseat and that you brought in dark grey and sparkle and of course [smile] red!

Your area rug is muted and is it a bit purple? Not everything has to match, and what I mean is your rug doesn't even seem grey...

I can only cover with my hand things on screen, as I did for the tan euro shams which almost are too much as the bed already has enough mix and match - what do you think about your bed?

The rug is grey, it is just the lighting in the picture. it is dark grey with light grey stitching in the pattern. The big pillows on the bed are not going to stay there, we just did that bc they were sitting there. What my main question is, does the color of the curtains look off from the color of the rug? The bed comforter is a little lighter than rug so that was my main question

I can't figure it out from here, sorry. Maybe someone else can. Have you considered a tone of burgundy or dark blue rug? less of the mix/matching.
