Keep both doors. Replacing the custom styles with the arched top would eat up your landscaping budget and then some. The doors you currently have are much more upscale than the one you are proposing.

Love the door as is! If you're craving a new look, a simple color change could do the trick :) you'll have so much more to use your remainder budget on!

I would keep your door, but replace or remove storm door - so you can appreciate/see the door. Most likely the biggest change will come from your landscaping.

Sorry to contradict you on removing the door Maureen , I have no idea where you live but I bet you that who removed their storm doors will surely feel the cold draft especially with the harsh Winter that we are having over here . On top of that I really believe that storm doors are an added touch of security to a home ..

@Genevieve, I live in Toronto and it's been the coldest winter since the 1800's. We actually have more draft from windows then our door. I was reluctant to remove our storm door, but have never looked back. The quality of the door is important as well as how it is sealed/maintained. Storm doors for security - there is nothing easier than just breaking the glass. The only thing I did miss was when our kids were young, I would leave the front door open and still have a good view of what they were up to and now, our animals have one less door to manage to escape from!

Putting on a storm door was seriously, the very first thing we did when we bought this house. I love having my front door open with either glass or a screen, depending on the weather. First sign of spring for me, to replace the glass with the screen.

Keep the door, it looks great, change to a full glass storm door or one with decorative Iron work and it will look awesome.

Keep the door, I agree it is very beautiful but replace the storm door with one that is full glass so you can actually see the inner door's beauty. I have a full glass storm door and I keep the inner door open every day that the outside temp permits and I love the amount of light it lets in. Unfortunately, I agree that it will probably eat up most of your budget to get a storm door with the arch top..... if that is so, I would (as others have suggested) paint the storm door to match the inner door.

I live in upstate NY no storm door. I think it takes away from the look of the front door. Your front door is beautiful. Take off the storm door, maybe investigate what wood your front door is, it might be worth having it stripped, stained and a heavy coat of varnish.
That is what my exterior doors are very easy to maintain and they look great.
