Not at all! I haven't started mine yet either. And even when I start earlier (I usually start late January, mid-February) I still use this method well into April. Have fun!

not at all is right. most seeds don't need stratified, there are plenty of self-seeding annuals that need just a short period of cold. The peony poppies need at least 2 weeks.

But some years I say I'm not going to do this again, and I end up doing it even much later and still have a whole bunch of new things. Lift up your spirits, and have fun with your seeds.
