the problem is it would have the effect of narrowing passage to the left. mark out the floor with blue painter's table the size of this table, and see how much you'd bang your hip on it going by.

I think it would look great - the right lenght to fill that wall also the right width for the location.

I think it looks good and you need something substantial in the space. You don't have to make a sharp turn there to get to the door so it should work.

I think it will work. The current table is obviously way to small & it needs something substantial. It's a great looking table (love your light too) but just to be certain mark it off with blue tape or move some type of furniture from another room that's a similar size. I bet Havertys would let you return it if it didn't work.

Go for it, the table looks great. Keep the mirror until you find the perfect piece of art to go over it, unless you already have.
