March Flowers

I feel guilty posting this as teen usually does but it's 2 hours until Midnight which would obviously mean it's March! Sorry If I stole this away! I'm not worthy!

Anyway,

March. We all know what that means! Two more months until Spring! Or the start of Spring to all you southerners and easterners. Can't wait to see a Robin Again! Trying to find one before March 21st. Hopefully that will happen as it's been quite mild here. Also cant wait to go to Florida! I missed you roseate spoonbills and the various palms!

March also means our house plants start to kick in again which for many means flowers.

Let's seem em!

Not a true flower, of course, but I'm sure a cyathia will do! This time of year, with limited light indoors, the blooms on this Crown of Thorns are a pure yellow.

My Wandering Jew has also been blooming weekly for about a month and a half:

I guess I'll post my COT again to join the club

Has a ton of flowers and couldn't really get a good angle to include all of them so here's one side.. .. Mind the water spots!

Other then that, nothing else.... No buds or anything...

    Hello!

I am sorry for creating another march blooms post! I didn't see that Mr. Blubs had created one before I did! I apologize for the confusion that I could be creating for the other members on here. Is there a way to delete the post since we have the new lay out for Gardenweb?

I have only a few plants that are starting to bloom.

Blooming variegated wax begonias and a double flowered wax begonia.

Nonstop blooms from the common green hoya carnosa, I really love the smell of chocolate from the blooms at night.

    Snow Princess lobularia

Some of the last blooms of my old thanksgiving cactus.

I am enjoying seeing everyone's blooms on here. Give me hope that spring is almost here!

    Again Sorry, Mr. Blubs!

I should wait for a while since the flower is not open yet - but this "stinker" surprised me with a bud...

It is Sauromatum venosum (aka Woodoo lily or Arum cornutum).

What a beautiful little bloom. And the color of 'Dark Waters' is great.

Late last night the woodoo lily opened - it does stink, so far only if one gets close to it. (Excuse cross-post, I posted the photo on another thread too).

Two of my Phal orchids have been in bloom for a couple of months now, my spider plants always have flowers, and my purple shamrock (Oxalis) took a short break from blooming, but now it's started to flower again.

    I will post pictures later.
