Btw.... What can I do to get rid of the mirrors?

Hi Michael, to me your room looks like it has some modern bones to it, ( ie:brick wall beside FP) but a previous owner tried to formalize it by adding a lot of moulding. I'm not sure why you think of moulding, but by looking at your ideabooks, I think you prefer a more modern style. If so, I would remove it all and the mirror. There is no easy way to remove mirror. It would be glued on, and might shatter when you try to pull it off. Then most likely you will have drywall damage. If you do it yourself, wear protective clothing and goggles. I seem to remember reading one time of someone adhering plain old mac-tac to mirror before removing to minimize shards of mirror everywhere. Not sure if that's works though. Maybe other houzzers have tips.

For decor, pick furniture and rug first, then window treatments, art and accessories. Pick paint last.

Drapes: The current window coverings seem decorative and not for privacy so ditch scarf. I like neutral drapes. You can go neutral with texture for interest. Mirror wall : I'd hire someone to get rid of mirror wall...maybe they can cover it with drywall? I loathe the dark wall over fireplace. Wall color: Anything that is expensive ( furniture) or a pain to change ( paint color) I go neutral and ask my accessories to step up and add personality. Neutral doesn't have to mean white. It could be light grey... Molding: If it's glue on, what a hassle to remove. Just paint it same color as ceiling and other trim. It will blend better. If it's nailed down you might want to remove it. It just seems awkwardly large.
