Sleuthing the perfect paint color

Hi!
I'm trying to find a color that resembles the perfect pair of washed out chinos. I guess it would fall into the pale stone color family. All the paint chips in the stores are ridiculously too small and I really don't want to be buying loads of sample containers. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Take a pair of washed out chinos to the paint store and have them scanned and color matched. I will tell you though that test driving paint in your space is always a good idea as light and furniture and flooring all have a bearing how the color will look. that is why paint companies make test cans
