    Beautiful colors!
IMHO I'd lower the pictures, add some crown moulding, and remove some of the items from the table

I have a couple thoughts. First of all, if you want several items on the table, go with a longer table because it is looking way too small and cramped. If you are staying with the smaller table, then try removing the smaller items. Go with one picture and one less vase also. The dried flower arrangement doesn't go with the mix in my opinion. I would move that to another part of the room. I do love the orchid.

Also, remove some of the books and just have maybe 2 on each side. The minimal look will make it appealing for the eye. :)

i concur with lynnie...less is more. i like the clean white colour - compliments your trim; but remove the books, and all but a couple of pieces (your favourites) from the console. also - remove the baskets below. if you need storage, consider a longer console that could extend to just a few inches from your doorframe. move the jug/vase to the other side or another space in your home. i might bring in a painting with teal/light blue to accent your teal walls in the next room.

I think that there are a few things working against you here.

    1) the large vase on the floor need something taller in it - larger sticks or branches and move it over a little so it isn't crowding the table.

    2) everything is neutral and judging from the gorgeous colour in the adjacent room, you might like to punch it up a little? Try re-framing your pictures with larger frames and then adding colour mattes (even patterned mattes). You can get cheap frames from Ikea or HomeSense and then go to a custom framing store for the matts. Or heck, go for coloured frames. Either way, it will add interest.

    3) make the art part of the vignette. In the attached photos, you can see how the art isn't hung at gallery height (eye level), it's hung lower (a few inches off the table). Group them together, maybe stacked or side-by-side.

    4) declutter. A lot of the photos of entry tables out there are taken from furniture stores or their ads. These are arranged to display the maximum amount of items for sale. In reality, you need space to set down your keys, purse, glasses, etc. Keep just a few items and let there be negative space.

Ultimately, balance and proportion are what you'll need to achieve. If you make a few changes, post again and maybe it will just take a little rearranging to get the look you're after! We're here to help!

...If you don't want to reframe the pictures, just try stacking them vertically, a few inches off the table with an inch or two between them (no staggering!) :)

What a pretty area. I do agree that there is a little to much on the table. I do think this is a case of less is more. Have you thought about putting one large picture that runs horizontal rather than the two smaller pictures. If you keep the two pictures, I think they should be lowered.
