There appears to be a lot of problems with the Pebblefina process, if you read online reviews. If not done properly, you get this uneven finish. It can develop into cracks and chips. The installers blame the process, the plaster or the pool chemicals. Two things. 1) Go to the company website and ask a rep to come out to see the issue. 2) Contact your local contractor watchdog and report your experience. It looks like a process that should be pulled from the market. No amount of acid washing solves the problem.
