Prather a comment, to help other customers considering this fixture. I just installed 3 Avery pendants over my kitchen island and they are magnificent! The benefit you can't see in photo is that the stripes refract the light, making almost a prism effect of light and shadow. It's stunning. The color of the glass also casts that tone so if you don't want acqua, orange or smoke colored refracted light then go with white. I LOVE my acqua, it's exactly what I wanted.
