My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Hi thick are the boxed molding on wall?

    Hello,


    Thanks for your question!


    This molding was created with flat kiln-dried poplar wood strips from Lowes. Each piece was measured to scale, mitered at the edges, and caulked, primed and painted to match the walls by a professional carpenter. The poplar strips were 1.5" wide X 3/4" thick. For this particular installation, we used 8' strips, although you may require more or less length depending on your ceiling height.
