Bathroom light fixture help, please!

We are planning our master bathroom renovation. The vanity will be 72" long. There will be one large mirror (with a frame) above the vanity since there are walls on both sides of the vanity and the double sinks will hug the sides with only a few inches between the sink and the side splash. Given this information I would really appreciate lighting advice. The light fixture I found comes in a 2 light (16.75" long), 4 light (26" long) and a 6 light (38" long). I am planning on having the fixture/s above the mirror because of the sink and wall positioning. So, do I go with two of the 2 light or 4 light fixtures or one 6 light fixture? I have attached photos of the light fixtures. Note that they would be hung horizontally. I am happy to provide any other necessary details.

I would go with the six light fixture, but I do recommend that you consider putting a light source on each side of the mirror. they could be at the same height as the light across the mirror. end would to have a little lower.

can the 2 light fixture be mounted vertically? if so, you use them as sconces on each side of the mirror.

I realize that this may be more light than you need, but just put them on dimmers.

Thanks for your advice, Kelley! I would love to do sconces but don't think it is possible since the vanity is between two walls and the sinks are very close to the edge of the vanity/walls. If I did sconces then then I think the edge of the mirror would hit in the sink area. So, I was thinking of doing a pot light above each sink with the 38" long light centered above the mirror. What do you think? Also, just so I have a better understanding just wondering why the two 26" fixtures wouldn't work above the mirror? I really appreciate ypur help!!

When doing a long single fixture with double sinks, make sure that the lighting extends past each sink, so that if you are standing at one sink or the other, your lighting is even on your face. Does this make sense? If you cannot get one long enough, you will have shadowing on one side or the other. This is often my argument for having one fixture over each sink. Even lighting.

can you mount three of the two light units vertically on the wall at eye level?

illuminations lighting - I will check to see how far over the sinks the fixture will extend. If they don't extend far enough would a pot light over each sink help? Or, would two 26" long fixtures or three 16" long fixtures be better? In addition to the function, I am also concerned the visual appearance. Which solution will look better?

Kelley - I guess I could do three of the 2 light fixtures hung vertically, but then i would have to do two mirrors or install them on the mirror. My hesitation with two mirrors is that if someone is standing in the middle of the vanity getting ready then there wouldn't be a mirror to look in.

you could have one mirror if you installed them on the mirror.
