My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Black trim and windows

We are just finishing a new build home with black exterior and interior windows and doors. I had the painter do all the doors with black trim and the windows with a neutral white trim and now considering black trim also on the windows. Is this paint or stain? We would have to use paint to change ours now. Is this something that the owners like or wish that they hadn't done originally. I am wondering about dusting and if it would show more on black trim.

    Hi Esther, this is black paint. The owners are very happy with the trim and window sashes both being black. Makes a nice frame to the outside. Black always shows more dust/dirt but this is a really safe place to use it I believe. Hope this helps.
