The color posted by AggieDesigns is beautiful! I think that you could also paint your walls a color that has some golden undertones as well to pull out the gold flecks in the stone. Possibly something similar to this:

Depending on your lighting you might want to go a bit lighter/warmer. Or greener.

I also have cherry cabinets and uba tuba granite. I have a chair rail in my kitchen and all of the trim is the old Duron Shell White (a warm white). We used the Sherwin Williams Nomadic Desert above the chair rail as the gold in uba tuba is a very brown/gold - not yellows. Below the chair rail we have a dark gray/green. The yellow greens and blue greens won't work, imo. If the Nomadic Desert is too beige for you, the Laura Ashley Sand 4 would be a nice balance with the colors in the room.

It just depends on the slab. I've seen a lot of different tones in UbaTuba - from almost black to turquoise. Of course whatever you pick you should check with your slab in your kitchen. It's the only way to know for sure.
