I purchased Mandevilla Chilean Jasmine seeds and am wondering if anyone has experience growing Mandevilla from seed. The seeds have germinated indoors under lights and are (slowly) sprouting their second set of leaves. I was excited to see them germinate quickly, but now they are growing so slowly that I am beginning to wonder what to expect for the first year. My main questions I suppose are: will they possibly bloom the first year? and realistically, how tall can I expect them to grow this year? I am in zone 6 so they will not be going out until mid May most likely. I plan on growing them in planters so they can be overwintered....hopefully.
