I would thin about 1/3 of each cluster ... then if it doesn't drop naturally, remove some more.

You don't want to risk branches breaking on such a tiny one.

I went out to thin and realized how curled the old foliage was. It was loaded with mites! Damn. I sprayed it with water which took care of the excess fruit/bloom problem, but there was no noticeable difference this morning. I can't spray pesticides when its in bloom, so I ended up trimming off all the infected leaves; which was about 2/3 of the leaves. It looks really sad, but I was careful not to pinch off and leaf buds and I moved two baby mantis onto it from my plumeria. I watered it well with fertilizer, Superthrive and Bt. Fingers crossed!
