Is everything "LaPango" this year!?!?

I am so disappointed!! While most of my bulbs are blooming true, it's becoming clear that some of these bulbs I held back to the end are NOT!! Rosario, Merengue, and Tango are all the infamous, tan-pediceled "LaPango". Although some of the blooms haven't opened yet, they clearly are tan pedicels, and reddish blooms....ARGH!

Is anyone else feeling my pain? I'll post a photo some day soon; as I said, blooms aren't fully open yet.

At least Sulawesi, Piri-Piri, and Dixieland were true to their labels.

I just checked my Merengue and found one shot that looked like the pedicels were tan but all the others were more to the green side:-( that's a real shame, sorry...

well...maybe they will green up. Blooms aren't open. Is this the first year that we noticed tan pedicels? The bud sheath was really tight on Merengue, so I helped it along. Maybe once they get some sun they'll green up. I just think something odd is going on.

What did your Rosario end up being Donna? I know you said at least 1 wasn't what it was supposed to be.

Both of my Rosarios were Rosarios, it was my Kahlua that wasn't but I liked it anyway, a sort of Octopussy type.
