If you're in South Florida you definitely need to check out Sunshine Bromeliads in Southwest Ranches. It's in between Davie, Cooper City and Pembroke Pines. She's the sweetest 87 year old lady and it's on 3 acres. It's literally her home and backyard, and nursery. The best part is the grounds. She hangs broms in trees, grows on rocks, ponds, chairs, bamboo, you name it. It's a tropical paradise. It's a great place to get ideas on how to display your broms, tills and orchids. Great tips on companion plants too. I spent way too much time and $ there. Also, I lost my old username, halfwaythere, during this Houzz conversion (which sucks). I'm halfwaythere1 now. Does anyone know how I can get it back? I'm using the same email address. When I tried to change it in settings it says it's already taken. DUH.
