My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    From the interior designer: "That is actually a kitchen island made out of cabinets. We used Decora cabinets with a charcoal finish. The granite is New Delicatus Granite. It's an ivory base with yellow and grey veining. The counter stools are from Ballard Designs www.ballarddesigns.com. They are counter height with pewter nail head trim. They also swivel."

      what is the distance from edge of island to edge of dining table??

      I have it on our plans as 48", I'm not certain what the final dimension was. I can tell you that a kitchen designer I work with tells me that the ideal distance between counters for two people to work in a kitchen, not too much or too little, works out to 45 inches.
