They may grow larger but it would be nice to know its name before passing judgment. The one thing I notice is it appears to be in too large a pot for the size plant.

hcmcdole, I dare not repot. The plant appears to be very fragile that repotting may cause death. Yes, I agree the pot is too large. The good side is that I do not water for weeks and it is still okay. I know many Rex will perish in such large pot. I think this small one is the toughest Rex hybrid I have seen.

I rooted some leaves recently using the water method - just stuck those in some Jiffy pellets and so far looking good.

hcmcdole, yours are wonderful. The leaves of mine are thinner than the cultivars you have, but they are extremely metallic.

Are you in a zone that gets cool evenings? Seems like mildew would not be appearing during the summer hot days and warm evenings.

hcmcdole, you are correct. And, this mildew does not spread easily, unlike rose black spots. But a neighbor got them, so I got them.
