it is never too late!! i'm actually taking a break from doing it now :) i am moving more to stuff for the veggie garden, but still planting some swamp milkweeds, and other natives, just to see what happens. i'm in 7b (nw ga).

It's not too late for anything that doesn't need prolonged cold. I've still got lots to sow, including herbs. Depending on what you're growing you probably don't need the fridge, either.

I agree its not too late. I still have herbs and annuals to do. You might want to put seeds that need long term cold stratification in the deep freeze for a week or two.

ladyrose, I have to respectfully disagree with you. Very few seeds need to be frozen, freezing will just kind of put them on hold until things are not quite so cold. A better temperature for a moist chill is approx. 35-40. Freezing for a week or two doesn't equal weeks of moist cold.
