Need a new electric/induction range

I was all set to have two single ovens and an induction cooktop. The store damaged one of the ovens and will not replace with the same oven and will only refund my money.. This has me now searching for a range and not using separate ovens and a cooktop. I have read through no less than 100 range threads and there are very few recent threads on electric ranges. Most concentrate on gas ranges or ovens/cooktops.

Has anyone recently purchased an induction range? I would be happy with a free standing range as I am concerned about replacing a slide-in at a later time. I love the looks of a slide in but need to look down the road. I have a convection microwave and feel as if although I am disappointed in not having two separate ovens, I don't have the need for the use of two ovens that often and maybe it was karma that led me to the range instead.

I am ok with using the bottom drawer for storage or warming. I do not want plastic on the control panel. The Frigidaire and Kitchen Aid have this. I do't want a samsung due to the problems with service. I would like convection and a temp probe. If you have recently purchased a new electric range recently, please post your experience.

It seems as if the Electrolux and GE rise to the top for induction as well as electric.

I currently have a GE range(Rebadged Kenmore) that was in the house when we purchased it 15 years ago. The only repair was a cooktop replacement when my son dropped a bottle of sauce on it. It heats up quickly and the only real complaint I have is that I hate cleaning the top and it requires a razor blade on occasion as I am a rather "enthusiastic" cook.

TIA.

Gayle
