Thanks to all the lovely suggestions and help posted on here I learned a lot about taking cuttings and getting them to root. On my first go round of a very old rose in my neighbors garden that she doesn't know the name of I have gotten 7 of 10 to grow roots. I started so many because I was certain I would not be successful. Now to get them to all grow into viable bushes. Oh yeah, I used the burrito method to get the calluses.
