My neighbor, whom I've never met in a year even though she lives next door came over today with 2 mini roses that were nothing but green stems with a few yellow leaves hanging on. She said since I was the rose expert at which I had to laugh she thought maybe I could save them. They've been living in the house since Valentine's.

I explained I wasn't an expert that I only had been learning about minis and pot growing in the last few months. Now I am far from an expert but I have gleaned a lot of information from the nice people on here so I offered to try to nurse them back to health.

Thank you everyone for sharing you knowledge so that I have a little knowledge to work with. Her roses are now in 1 gallon pots sitting in the shade on my patio. Fortunately we are having mild weather this week. I'm hopeful they will come around because well, I now have a reputation to uphold.
