It's a nice table and I think it might look better with something lower, wider and colored on it. The plants sort of steal its thunder. I think I would also look for some throw cushions for the chairs that did not contrast quite so much.

Or consider displaying lovely picture of your aunt in a silver colored frame on it! Add a lovely porcelain item or other smaller pictures.

I think you need more on the table, a dark lamp base like the one in the picture above, it needs height. A picture or two and a plant, maybe a few books, adding some personality to the space. Beautiful table and fits well with the chairs!

I like the bowl. You might try it a little to the left with the orchid a little behind and to the right? (Or the pic of your aunt or the books?) The cushions are less contrasting than the others were but I think I would keep an eye out for some that had a little color in them. Something medium-dark.
