New shoots after pruning....

Just a quick question for all you plumeria growers out there. My 'Mardi Gras' suffered from black tip this winter.... Or perhaps another fungal issue... To make a long story short, the growth tip turned black and mushy. So I cut it back to healthy tissue. It calloused over nicely and now has five.... Count them, five!... new growth tips. Is there any benefit to be gained by removing a couple of them.... Or should I just let them grow and develop as they are? Any advice?
