what material is the sink?

I am using the same countertop but do not want to use a stainless sink. do you think a grey silgranite would work

    In your opinion, is it ok to use two different materials on the countertops? We cannot afford all white macaubus so we thought to put it on the island and the rest of the perimeter in a white (or other option) quartz product. Thoughts?

    We are using white macaubus as our island material and a honed jet mist (aka Virginia mist) granite on our countertops. We found photos of other kitchens on houzz with that combination and it we like the look. I think as long as the countertops have a similar natural stone look, you can match a good number of colors/styles to white macaubus, especially depending on the color variations in the veins.
