After getting great advice and updating our family room, I couldn't live with the heavy, mis-match drapes that hung in the adjoining eat-in kitchen area. We have a great backyard with a nice view and the drapes completely covered the window (really, they covered the whole wall and looked like a stage curtain lol). But we need something for the afternoon sun that comes through. I want something streamlined and clean...but not modern. We are more traditional/transitional. Roman blinds? It's a sliding door. Can I do roman blinds? The slider is throwing me off. I'm also thinking something dark to carry through to the dark wall in the family room?
