My kitchen is currently purple and the sun room coming off of it, red. I'm a vibrant color person and it really works. However, we've had this for 14 years and I'm ready for a change. Going to try Granny Smith Apple green. One of the major paint brands (I think Gliden) has an online program where you import a photo of your kitchen, then you select a color-or one close to it- that you might like and it "paints" your walls. It's not perfect but a great way to get an idea of how things might look. Very helpful.

if you like a warm yellow but not orangey, i can recommend BMs "squish squash", its medium with no green undertones.

A mustard yellow in the kitchen and turquoise in the dining room....or again the mustard yellow or a yellowish lime green in the kitchen and a high gloss medium gray in the dining room
