My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

DIPLOIDS, TRIPLOIDS AND TETRAPLOIDS...COMPLICATED TOPIC!

Could someone explain?

H. Exotica is supposed a tetraploid plant (RIGTH?) and diploid crossings do not work in both directions (I read that) ... I made the following crosses:

Exotica x Cybister Rosado

Exotica x Exotic Star

I got 16 seedpods with many many seeds. They have germinated and the plants have 9 months now...

    I'll just give you my unscientific answer: Exotica is a very sexy lady and produces good strong seeds and also loves the company of some cybisters, and she will also mate with papilio, both Kristi and I made this cross last year and we are both growing seedling.

    Unfortunately, my Exotica wasn't in the mood this year, I tried Quito and Rosario and she rejected them both.

    Both of your crosses should yield some lovely flowers, be sure to share them with us when you bring them to bloom!☺☺

    I'm sure someone else will give you the more technical answer you are seeking...I just thought I'd have a little fun.☺
