Hi Reed, Just reading your list is making my taste buds cry. You've got an awful lot of the really hot ones. Do you use them in cooking or more in the making of pepper sauce and salsa and stuff.

I love Fatali. It is so lovely I'd grow it purely as an ornamental even if it didn't produce nice, hot peppers.

Blushing Beauty is one of my favorite bells as it is so heavily productive and the fruit in all color stages at once is so pretty.

Have you grown "Fooled You" before? If so, do you like it? I thought I'd love it when I grew it, but discovered the lack of capsaicin rendered the peppers useless as far as I was concerned. Jalapeno flavor without the accompanying heat just wasn't enjoyable at all, which suprprised me. Over the years I've developing a fondness for a certain degree of heat.

We're all behind here because of late snow storms followed by day after day of pesky rain, but the weather is beautiful today, as it was yesterday, and I'm extremely busy playing catch-up.

It's glorious here. The weather is absolutely beautiful. My pullets are outside now and doing great.

I grow the hot peppers for making chili powder and pepper sauce. I've not grown Fooled You before. I hope my experience is better than yours was.

Things are great personally too. Getting ready to propose to my girlfriend. I'm excited.

Tastes in peppers vary so much and are so subjective. I like chiltepin hot sauce. But I don't care to pick the tiny little peppers. The plants are quite attractive.

I favor habanero types. But truly the Jalapeño types are outstanding all purpose peppers. Serranos are also really good.

This year I'm growing Ají Yellow #2, which is an habanero type, though not nearly as hot as Fatali. I'm happy with the lower heat. It's hot enough. I'm also growing Chile Rayado, a regional variation of jalepeño from central Mexico. It's generally hotter than regular jalepeños. But it's an outstanding general purpose pepper and dries very nicely with a nice smoky flavor. Finally, I was given seed to a kind of mystery pepper. A friend of mine purchased some sweet peppers at a box store, some years ago. In with them was a seedling of this one. It has about 2 1/2" red conical pods. They are HOT. But the flavor is outstanding. I'm going to try them. That's if for me, as I save seed.
