Most of my costumers want turnip green with nice size turnips on the bottom.

Interesting idea.....My first thought is that it's a waste of a good turnip that you worked hard for already, especially since seed is so cheap. I'm not all that sure how much faster it would be anyway, 30 days for harvestable greens from the turnip, 40 days from seed....hmmm

I am not sure how much faster it will be either, but I am going to give them a try. I have planted turnips this spring already, but none have come up. I thought that this might bridge the gap between now and when the new crop is available.

I don't know how much longer these turnips will stay good in storage, so if they start going bad, I will be composting them anyways, so why not give it a try?

I guess I will give it a try and report back.
